Charlotte and Jake after cancer diagnosis

Anna and Clare are close friends with Charlotte, we wanted to do something to help Charlotte and Jake....please read the narrative below and give what you can.

Earlier this year Charlotte and Jake were overjoyed.....they were expecting a lovely human bean.

Then a week later their world fell apart, Jake was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Since September he has been in and out of hospital having operations to remove the tumour and have shunts fixed to drain the excess cerebral fluid.

They then received the diagnosis, stage 4 cancer.

Jake is still in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and Charlotte is travelling to see him from their home in Chippenham.

Jake can no longer drive, which in turn means he can no longer work.

Hopefully he will be transferred to the Savernake Hospital this week, still not easy to get to on public transport.
