My name is Charlie Borowczak. I am officially lauching my annual Charlie's Angels Campaign for the 2024 Christmas season.
Since I was six years old, I have been adopting Salvation Army Angels at Christmas time. 14 years later, now a junior in Company E-2 in Texas A&M’s Corps of Cadets, I have annually continued to work year-round to bring Christmas gifts to the less fortunate. As a six-year-old, I did manual labor to raise $100 and adopt one angel. A tradition was born. In following years I began enlisting family and friends to help me secure more work, more donations, and more manpower as I grew the project. About 5 years into the project, my number of angels so outnumbered my manpower capabilities that I created the Charlie’s Angels Shop Squad, a team of volunteers who would help me shop for all the gifts for my angels using the money I raised. My senior year in high school, I raised $70,000 to adopt 700 angels. I took a year off as a freshman cadet to get my feet under me and then reignited the project in 2023 as a sophomore in order to see what potential Charlie’s Angels could have at Texas A&M. Our 2023 donations almost doubled the projected goal, reaching $10,000 to bring Christmas to 100 kids in Texas.
This year, I am calling upon my amazing community to once again help me bring Christmas where it's needed most. I have set a lofty goal of raising $100,000 to adopt 1,000 Salvation Army Angels, but I can’t do it alone. I have the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and various student organizations across campus behind me. I have pledged to solo raise a minimun of $30,000 by November to contirbute to our goal.
It's time to bring the magic of Christmas to families in need. It's time to add to the list of 1,230 children that Charlie's Angels has already helped over the past 14 years. Will you help us reach our goal? Just think… YOU could be the reason a child gets a Christmas, and every child deserves a Christmas.

I could not be more proud of the opportunity to serve my community in this capacity, and I could not be more grateful for the overwhelming generosity by all who donate and shop. It is YOU who makes the project happen, all I do is organize. Without your help, there would be no Charlie’s Angels. I do not believe there is such a thing as a small contribution.
