Charlie's Angels 2021

Charlie’s Angels is a charity I founded when I was 6 years old. I watched my parents adopt an angel off of the Salvation Army Angel Tree and wanted to adopt one of my own. I earned $100 and adopted 1 angel. A tradition was born. The next year I made a Youtube video, setting a goal to raise $300 for 3 angels and I ended up raising $700 to adopt 7 angels. I decided that I wanted to make this a yearly passion. I have grown it every year since then, bringing in more people and raising more money with each passing year. Last year, with the help and generosity of countless contributors, I raised $18,500 to adopt 185 angels. This year I have set the lofty goal of raising $50,000 to adopt 500 angels and give 500 children a Christmas. Our deadline for fundraising is Monday, November 15th.

I spend the whole year doing odd jobs and collecting donations. Then, in mid-November, when the Salvation Army rolls out their annual Angel Tree, I take all the money I have earned and use it to adopt angels off of the tree, allocating $100 to each angel. After that, I shop for all of the angels I adopted and then return them to the Salvation Army warehouse to be distributed at Christmas. What makes this project so unique is where we are versus where we started. Never would I have dreamed that it would grow to be as big as it has become. As I finish high school and begin to turn the page on a new chapter of my life, I am sad to say that 2021 will be the final year that I do Charlie’s Angels for the foreseeable future. I have aspirations of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M for college then plan to serve my country and become an officer in the United States Marine Corps after college. With this being the final year, I have decided to go big or go home with my fundraising goal. I want to completely shatter last year’s total. Will you help us get there? Will you help us reach our goal? Just think… YOU could be the reason a child gets a Christmas, and every child deserves a Christmas.
