Half marathon to help Charlie on her long road to recovery

3 months ago, my sister was in a horrific accident while working on a ship in Germany. She was left with a huge laceration accross her eyeball and multiple fractures of the bones in her face.

After 2 surgeries and countless consultations, it's now clear her vision in that eye will never recover and she's soon to be fitted with a shiny new prostetic!

As a photographer, this has obviously had a huge impact on her life - no one wants to be self employed and unable to work in this economy!

She still has a long, long road to recovery and I'd like to raise some money to make it just a little easier - associate photographers, travel to and from medical appointments, trauma support and self care to name a few!

I have always hated running, it's not something I've ever been good at, especially long distance. So for this fundraiser I've set myself a real challenge- I'll be running Carsington Water half marathon with my bestie Ellie on the 7th December. It's going to be awful, I'm going to hate every minute so any donations to keep me motivated will be hugely appreciated!
