I have been in Scouting for 6 years and I am working to reach my final goal of becoming an Eagle. In order to become an Eagle Scout, I must gather a team to complete a public service project. I have decided to build what is called a Gaga Ball Pit for A*Rise Ministries in Gretna, Florida. (Click the green link for their website). This "pit” is a pen built of high quality materials that allows for children to play a form of dodge ball. The children at A*Rise Ministries loved playing the game at camp this summer, but they do not have a Gaga Ball Pit in their community to play it in.



This will be a great addition to their ministry headquarters in Gretna, where the children gather after school and on weekends. To complete my project I need to raise about $1,500.00. The money will go to the purchase of materials and supplies necessary to complete this project. I will be completing this project Friday and Saturday, November 25 & 26, and I have challenged myself to raise all necessary funds before then!

Any remaining funds after the completion of the project will be given to A*Rise Ministries!
