Charlie Edwards Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Lynette and I'm hoping to help support my friends, Kate and Gavin after the devastating news that their 15 year old son, Charlie, has to receive further Proton Beam Therapy (radiotherapy) after having the brain tumour removed. Charlie has been diagnosed with Grade 4 Medulloblastoma and whilst the surgery at world renowned Alder Hey Hospital was successful, Charlie still needs more treatment at Christies Hospital, Manchester followed by 12 months of chemotherapy at Alder Hey

to support his full recovery. Kate and Gavin have to travel daily with Charlie and this has become a massive financial burden upon the family. Charlie, Kate and Gavin live in Wavertree, Liverpool and Charlie should be studying for his GCSE's at St Hildas High School, right now.

Charlie is a valued member of Marshalls FC under 16's football team where his dad, Gavin, is the team coach. Our whole football family is getting behind the Edwards family with a fundraising event being held on 31st March at Mossley Hill Athletics Club. If you are able to donate any amount to our Fundraiser it will be very much appreciated by the whole Marshalls FC football squad and the Edwards Family while they go through this challenging time.
