Aloha all,
My name is Tracy Kalama. I have the privilege to be called BLUE GRAMMA by a very special young man we call Charlie Bardos. Charlie was born with many life threatening issues and has endured more then most of us will in our entire Existence here. Despite all of his health challenges Charlie is full of character and love for life....And wants to be a TikTok Star.
I recently spent 2months in Virginia as Charlie’s health issues faced yet more challenges. While there a second grand son grew ill and needed to also be hospitalized at CHKD.
basically this situation set the family back a bit. It’s hard enough when anyone is hospitalized. Between the gas back and forth home to hospital and food for time there as well as feeding two growing boys at home things got costly.
charlie is back in the PICU very sick and facing open heart surgery on 12/30/2020. He once again has his brain fluid draining exterior Last surgery it was placed back into his stomach which then rejected it. The last resort at proper drainage is to the heart which is currently too weak! Open heart surgery happens in 12/30/2020. Then we pray and give good energy to the shunt being placed and drained to the heart. His condition is severe and his last stay in the hospital he was loved and followed by many of you. I personally send love and thanks and good energy back to all of you. I know we are all struggling during this Pandemic both emotionally and financially. If you can give we humbly accept. If you can not we understand with everything in us. This has been exhausting for both Alina and Gunnery Sergeant Brandon Bardos who has served our Country for 15 years in the US Marine Corps. They both want to stand present for their youngest son Charlie Cash during heart surgery. I will travel (protected) to be the blue gramma support at the home front. I will sing silly songs and cook and bring as much needed joy to the house as I can. Both Kayden and Cameron have been strong through all of this uncertainty and miss their brother being home. Your donations will help off set the cost to travel, the hospital trips, food, maybe a few extra baby yoda gifts for Charlie who is so worried Santa will not find him....
