UPDATE: It is insane how fast we got to our first goal of 1,000. To see how much you all care and are giving us support. We thank you from the bottom of our heart. We decided to raise the goal higher because we don’t have enough for certain things like to help re do the room he took his life in and replace the furniture/clothes for mom, help the kids with school and more that mom would keep private. So it’s at 10,000 now we have no expectations but this would help immensely. Again thank you all. - Hanna

Hi all. This is my angel and his daddy. My husband of 20 years took his life on Tuesday. We are devastated. I wouldn’t ask but we need help badly. The AS community is amazing- we could use your words of encouragement too. This sucks.

To friends and family, I am writing this post with great difficulty but on behalf of my dear friend Sharon Watts. My heart truly hurts for what they are going through right now.

Last night Charlie Watts passed away after a self inflicted accident. This loss is completely devastating. Charlie was battling depression and much more. Sharon is now left to raise their son who has a very rare disability called Angelman syndrome and they also have two other children. Unfortunately she doesn’t have the means to bury or have him cremated. She also cannot find anyone that can come do a clean up in the bedroom so that she can access stuff needed for their son. They desperately need help with a clean up crew and any donations that can help them lay him to rest properly. We are putting together details regarding upcoming events, so please stay connected as I will post when I know more. If you can, we also are accepting donations to help fund Charlie’s funeral services, since they were unprepared.
