Charles deserves a $1 dollar per hour raise!
We are trying, as a community, to give Charles a $1 per hour raise or $2,080! Below is his story from my point of view.
I swore off Subway a couple of years ago due to continued service issues. But...I must say this. I have returned to the 96 and Rock location for dine-in 4 times now in the last several months. There is one reason. An older gentleman works the line there. He has this regal humbleness about him. Kind to all from the moment you enter and is sure to greet you on the way out as well. I don't know what it is about him that impresses me so. Maybe it is because he obviously cares about the people who come in and what he is doing. When his sandwich comes to you, he is sure to say.."Let me know if something is not right for you. I'll help fix things." It's as if his perfect placement of all ingredients allows me to peer into his being. Like a reflection of his interest in every detail of what he is doing. I know this is just a sandwich. The person making it is what makes it special. If you have been in or go in, he is hard to miss. His hands are never idle. Not a crumb on a table, the floor, or even the door mat. Even though he is truly not trying to be seen. He deserves his employer to know what an asset they have. Check out his handy work in the picture attached!!
