Papa Cunliffe fundraiser

Hi, My name is Colin Cunliffe, and I'm raising money to help pay for my father's cancer treatment. Earlier this year, my amazing hero of a Dad was diagnosed with throat cancer. He was undergoing treatment that turned out to be too much for his beautiful body and, on August 2, passed on.

My Mother, Brother, and I are indeed sad during this time, but it is mixed with overwhelming gratitude that he was here to shape us and this world as passionately as he did.

Charles was unlike any person I've ever come across. His care for this planet and all its creatures was unmatched. Almost to a fault, he would stand for what was right and for those that needed help the most. He instilled in me my love for my fellow human, my love for the earth and a picture of what true love can look like.

He fought for his family like the true King he was and loved my Mother like a lead character in a Shakespeare romance. Their love was contagious, and growing up, they created a home that always had an unlocked door for any neighborhood kid that needed a home, a meal, or a hug.

He will be forever missed but will be forever everywhere, I'm realizing.

As we all know, medical bills can pile up quickly and rapidly. Our Father's treatment was no different. I am accepting donations that will cover my Father's outstanding bills. Today's world is wild, and everyone is going through true hardships, so please know any amount, large or small, is felt and appreciated more than you could ever know.

Perhaps you'll even feel a bit of Charles's gratitude if you decide to donate. Maybe he'll make your bare foot rest softer in a beautiful garden's soil. Perhaps he'll provide some extra shade from the most magnificent tree on a hot day. And probably as a deep felt thank you, you'll feel a wave of soft warmth surround your body, giving you a sense of the Love, Beauty and Power that was my most amazing Dad.
