Charity walk 2025

Hello everyone, my name is Jake Smith and this summer I will be embarking on my second charity walk in order to raise money for the male suicide prevention charity "Andy's man club".

The walk itself is going to be longer than the one I did in 2023. I will be walking from St. Jame's Park in Newcastle to Elland Road in Leeds which will be at least 120 miles.

I am excited for the challenge and really looking forward to getting started, however I am asking for help.

There will be a separate money raising page once the walk gets under way where all funds will go directly to the charity but I have set up this page to see if I can raise any funds for myself in order to best prepare for the walk.

I am obviously doing the walk voluntarily so all expenses for the prep and the undertaking are coming out of my pocket; travel to Newcastle, hotels, food & drink, medical supplies etc. The personal cost will add up and I still need to provide for the children with my wonderful wife Claire.

So yeah that's it!
