Charity startup to tackle poverty

Approximately 1 in 4 people are currently living in poverty in the UK.
...Clearly more needs to be done!
Through years of undertaking charity work and a hands on approach in volunteering both in the UK and overseas, I have had the opportunity to gain an insight and spend time with people living below the poverty line. I have been saddened by some of the stories and poor living conditions that I have witnessed first hand.
Having carried out solo missions in this area, it is now my passion to set up a charity to tackle poverty in the UK in order to be able to reach out and aid more people. Everyone deserves to have the basic essential needs in life, and this charity will aim to improve the lives of others from all backgrounds and age groups.
In order to set up a charity, there are startup costs which will exceed £500 (e.g. registration fees, website, domain, email).
In order to help raise money towards these costs, I have decided to take part in the London Marathon 2020.
The virtual 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon will take place on Sunday 4 October and participants can choose to run, walk or jog – making the event the most inclusive London Marathon ever.
This might be another one of my crazy ideas, but seemed like a good one at the time of securing a place. Please support me through the challenging 26.2 miles by donating. This is a great pre-launch event for the charity. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
There will be a team of us taking part to raise as much as possible. Maybe you can help in this pre-launch, by joining us or organising your own challenge and raising money by sharing this page.
