"Family is family, whether it’s the one you start out with the one you end up with, or the family you gain along the way.

this quote above hits hard for me as I am in the armed forces and have come across multiple friends that have now turned into brothers and I have also seen some of the most physically strong men I know crumble to their knees through mental health and I’m wanting to help bring awareness to this.

more recently this quote has hit me right in the heart as I have lost my brother David of 25 and a sister Zoe of 21 to suicide due to mental health issues.

Wigan has really had a dark cloud over it these past few months i just want people to know You are not weak for struggling with mental health issues and You are not alone in your journey towards better mental health.

me and few of the army lads from the 1st Duke of Lancaster regiment have decided to run/walk in August from Southport finishing in Wigan all wearing budgy smuggler giving Wigan and the northwest the boost of morale it needs.
