In November we welcomed our son Chester into the world, unfortunately a few days after birth Chester was diagnosed with a serious heart condition. Since then we have spent roughly 4 months in hospital, during this time Chester has struggled to gain weight for his life saving surgery. His goal weight is 5kg and he is currently 4.7kg. During this difficult time Tiny tickers has helped us enormously.

A baby is born with a serious heart condition every 2 hrs in the UK and despite CHD being one of the biggest killers of infants in the UK, only around half of congenital heart defects are picked up during routine prenatal scanning.
