Charity Climb, Zip and Abseil off the Principality Stadium
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of YSGOL MAES Y COED PARENT TEACHER AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION (charity No 505413) and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
My name is Cath Tucker and I am the Deputy Head Teacher at Ysgol Maes y Coed Special School in Neath. The school meets the needs of children and young people aged 3 - 19 with severe and profound needs. The PTFA aims to ensure that all pupils have the same experiences and opportunities as their mainstream counterparts. Currently money is being raised to redevelop our soft play room into a more bespoke sensory circuits area. This would benefit all the pupils across the school and support our young people to manage frustrations, anxieties and meet sensory processing needs.
The whole school concept for the Summer term is Challenge. I have decided to climb the Principality Stadium, Zip Wire along the canopy before Abseiling to the bottom. I have a terrible fear of heights but I wanted to do something that I would find a real challenge. The pupils in our school face many challenges on a daily basis and have inspired me to take on this personal challenge and to raise some funds for the school at the same time. I would be grateful for your support and sponsorship for this event. The event will take place on June 29th at 11am at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff.
