I started the Challenger Basketball Clinic for individuals with special needs when I was 12 years old in Atlanta, driven by my passion for both basketball and supporting the special needs community. When I came to the University of Kansas, I knew I wanted to bring this experience to KU, and for the past two years, I’ve been able to host the clinic here. Now, for my final year, I have the incredible opportunity to host the clinic in Allen Fieldhouse—the heart of Kansas basketball and a place that holds so much meaning for so many people.
This April, I want to give athletes with special needs the chance to run the floor, shoot on the same hoops as the Jayhawks, and feel the energy of this historic venue-at no cost to the athletes. Hosting an event at Allen Fieldhouse is a dream come true, but it also comes with significant costs. A fellowship I received has given us a great start, but we still need to raise more to cover the court rental fees. Any extra support will go toward making the experience even more special, with custom t-shirts, giveaways, and a strong volunteer team to ensure every athlete feels included and celebrated.
Your support will help us secure the court and make this clinic possible. If we can’t play, the clinic can’t happen—so every donation truly makes a difference. If we exceed our rental goal, every additional dollar will go toward giving these athletes the full Jayhawk experience. Thank you for helping us bring the magic of Allen Fieldhouse to a community that rarely gets to experience it. Rock Chalk!
