Chalet pour personnes vulnérables

Bonjour, nous sommes Camillia Pilon et Jonathan Gaumond, et nous sommes de jeunes entrepreneurs qui amorçons la construction d'un chalet écoresponsable, communautaire et autosuffisant dans la municipalité de St-Hubert de Rivière-du-Loup dans le Bas St-Laurent (Qc, Canada). Nous avons acquis récemment un terrain de villégiature d’environ 42 000 pieds carré dans cette municipalité et nous désirons consacrer cet espace pour accueillir des organismes et faire rayonner cette belle région. Aujourd'hui, nous avons besoin de votre aide pour recueillir 5000$ pour la construction de ce rêve.
Notre chalet sera construit presque entièrement à partir de matériaux recyclés et offrira GRATUITEMENT des séjours à des populations vulnérables ou toute autre population locale ayant besoin d'un répit ou désirant profiter d'un chalet alliant observation de la nature, activités physiques et interprétation, non seulement des atouts de la nature environnante (le lac St-François se trouvant à proximité), mais aussi de la grande région de Rivière-du-Loup, recelant de richesses historiques et patrimoniales.
Les populations que nous désirons accueillir feront partie d'organismes visés nous ayant déjà donné leur aval ou signalé leur intérêt pour ce projet: organismes prenant soin de personnes défavorisées, nouveaux arrivants, aînés, toxicomanes, sans-abri, aux prises avec des maladies chroniques, en soins palliatifs ou toute autre clientèle désirant participer et profiter du chalet. Éventuellement, nous voudrions donner des formations sur la construction écoresponsable, des ateliers d'interprétation de la nature, construire un jardin, une serre, etc.
Le chalet serait entièrement autosuffisant. Nous désirons le construire à l'aide de techniques et matériaux non-polluants, notamment en ce qui concerne l'isolation et l'énergie. De plus amples détails sur les formations que nous suivrons vous serons divulgués au cours du projet. Nous avons une page Facebook dédiée à notre projet, qui relatera des étapes de la construction du chalet pas-à-pas.
L'argent que vous donnerez aujourd'hui sera ENTIÈREMENT consacré à la construction de ce chalet. Les étapes préliminaires à la construction seront amorcées au printemps prochain (mai 2017). Nous devrons d'abord construire un petit ponceau pour connecter la route au terrain, défricher (mais très peu, seulement l'espace qui sera utilisé pour le chalet) et autres coûts connexes, comme les outils, l'expertise, et les coûts de matériaux et de transport. Par la suite, les dons que vous donnerez seront investis dans l'autosuffisance de notre chalet : les panneaux solaires, les systèmes de récupération d'eau de pluie, les assurances, afin de garder le chalet entièrement gratuit.
Nous avons besoin de vous, aujourd'hui. Nous avons besoin de vous pour mettre sur pied un système d'aide communautaire gratuit, impliquant des volets éducatifs et communautaires importants. Hello, we are Camillia Pilon and Jonathan Gaumond, and we are two young entrepreneurs who are starting the construction of an ecoresponsible, communitary and self-sufficient cottage in the municipality of St-Hubert de Rivière-du-Loup in the Lower St. Lawrence, Canada. We recently acquired a 42,000 square foot land in this municipality and we want to devote this space to host organizations and to expose the beauty of this beautiful region. Today we need your help to raise $ 5,000 for the construction of our dream.
Our cottage will be constructed almost entirely from recycled materials and will offer FREE stays to vulnerable populations or other local residents with special needs or want to enjoy a chalet combining nature watching, physical activities and interpretation of the great Rivière-du-Loup region, which is rich in history and heritage.
The populations we wish to host will be part of the organizations that have already given their approval or indicated their interest in this project: organizations that care of newcomers, elders, addicts, homeless people or any other clientele wishing to participate and enjoy the cottage. Eventually, we would like to give formations on eco-responsible construction and build a garden, a greenhouse, etc.
The cottage would be completely self-sufficient. We want to build it with non-polluting techniques and materials, especially with regard to insulation and energy. Further details will be given throughout our journey. We have a Facebook page dedicated to our project, which will relate stages of the construction of the cottage step-by-step.
The money you give today will be FULLY devoted to the construction of this cottage. We will begin the preliminary steps to construct this spring (May 2017). We will first have to construct a small culvert to connect the road to the land, clear the space we will use to construct our cottage, and other related costs, such as tools, expertise, materials and transport. Afterwards, the donations you give will be invested in the self-sufficiency of our cottage: solar panels, rainwater recovery systems, and insurance, to keep the cottage completely free.
We need you today. We need you to set up a free community support system, involving important educational and community components. Your donations would be valuable to us, in order to bring to life this project we have dreamed of for a long time. We want to give back to the community.
