Hello family & friends.  I am asking for help.

I have been battling a not so great custody battle with my ex-wife for about 6 years now. It has been about 3 years since I have seen my kids,  even though I had 50% shared custody of them.  About 6 months ago, my ex-wife gained temporary full custody of them.  How, I don't know. I guess the legal system is who I shall thank for that one.  My attorney told me that I can take her to criminal court from keeping me away from my kids, but said, "you can't afford that"! Nice attorney.  I really wish attorney's weren't so about what you can afford and be more about the safety and well-being of your children. I make good money, and work a ton of over time to just get by and pay my legal fees, but it's never enough. It really does add up.

This is where I am asking for your help.  Recently I found out some distributing news about my ex-wife and her boyfriend. Some at which I knew was going on, but no one (cops, attorneys, court, mediators, etc.) did anything about. Well, my day has come. The boyfriend has been arrested and charged with A LOT of things. Some of them being drug possession and guns. Which means, MY KIDS WERE IN THE HOUSE WITH BOTH DRUGS AND GUNS! Again, I told cops and attorneys this over and over throughout the years and no one wanted listen and yet my ex has made ME out to be the bad guy! Between this and the other charges, this I hope is my chance to finally get my kids back. I contacted my attorney and he said this is all good, but everything will take time and of course money!!! All I want in the end are my kids and them to be safe. I can't even begin to tell you how hard it has been for me to not be able to see or talk to my kids these past years and I never want to wish that upon anyone. They won't even call me. I have to write a letter, give to my attorney, he then reviews, then sends to her attorney which reviews, then it goes to the kids. You ask why? I wish I knew. I have already missed out on 3+ years, and I just want to be in their lives again. I miss them more than anything!!!!!
