Chad & Nikki’s Foster Shower

As many of you know, and for those that don’t Chad and Nikki are expecting!!!

These two amazing people are opening their home and their hearts to children whose only dream is to feel safe and loved. Becoming foster parents has been quite a long journey. From the moment Chad and Nikki fell in love they knew children would be in their future. Their plans were diverted when Nikki was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016 followed by a hysterectomy. After all Nikki has gone through with her Cystic Fibrosis over the years you would think these times would be dark, but with the aid of their unwavering faith in God, and through the power of prayer they rose above. While one door closed another opened.

It was in 2019 when they began their foster care journey. Knowing their life on the road was not suitable for a child they made the bold decision to quit Chads job, sell their 5th wheel, and move to a Indiana to stay with Nikki’s sister and plant roots. Very shortly after Chad was offered an incredible opportunity as a Lineman Apprentice and they bought their first home in Ohio.

Since then their pursuit to fill their home with children had been a busy one. Now after much work and preparation they should have a child living with them within a month. Nikki and Chad have touched the lives of so many, and deserve to be celebrated. Unfortunately everyone they care about is spread across the country, and hosting a traditional baby shower isn’t possible . So here I am doing my best to shower these two with the next best thing. No one knows the age of the children who will be blessed to be in their home, so a financial contribution is the best option. Any amount will be appreciated more than you know.

Chad and Nikki, we all love you so much. You two deserve all the love and light this world has to offer. Congratulations on what’s to come, and we cannot wait to see you two as parents!!!
