Donation protected
Mambo, my name is Victoria Bernard ,I come from Arusha Tanzania , some of you
already know me and have being to my school and know about the project for which I am searching funds. For those who don’t know me
I founded Chachihota NGO in april2022 . Growing up in poverty and being aware of the conditions people are living in, motivated me to start the Chachihota NGO and through it focused on practically helping people in need in our local community in Sanawari, Arusha Tanzania. As we aim to reach all ages from smallest kids and teenagers, to whole families we established 3 programs: NEW BRIDGE DAYCARE is our pre school where we provide eduction for 100 kids and have already more then 40 succesfuly enrolled to primary school. It is a safe space for kids to play and socialize. I created 4 new job opportunities for me and for two more local teachers and one assistant. Other project is FAMILY OUTREACH is our program in which we take care of the families in the neighbourhood by visiting them, bringing them food or medicine or what ever it is that they need. Often our volunteers like to visit families and contribute, also it is a heartfelt way to really get to know the community. And third one is
SOCCER PROJECT where we support local group of teenagers who love to play soccer, when we met them they were playing with no equipment but so much passion. We supply them with new and give them moral support however we can.
Our goal is to create A "earthship community" a place to share knowledge, grow and enjoy life with our kids, local community and volunteers/friends from all over the world. It will be a self sustainable educational center and daycare, where we will be able to provide education for 100 local kids and create at least 4 new jobs. We calculated 20,000 euros will be just enough to buy 1 hectare of land in the outskirts of Arusha, all the (building, school, gardening) materials for constructing school and living space for teachers, gardener, volunteers and you when you come to visit us. Also a solar panel, install grey water system, create permacultural garden and educate one team member in permacultural gardening in collaboration with Kukua Permaculture Academy. Our goal is to have all the funds and bought land by next summer (or as we say dry season) and start construction and garden even before, so we could be completely running and self-sustainable by 2026.
Every involvement, no mater how small or big, any kind of contribution is a blessing and we appreciate it a lot, you are automatically part of Chachihota family. Asante sana.
