Hi, my name is Sean, and I am a medical student from Limerick. Over the month of June, I will be travelling to Sri Lanka for 3 weeks as part of a medical elective.

During my time there, I will be working alongside local healthcare teams to support the delivery of basic healthcare and education, with a focus on contributing to the work being done locally. This may include blood pressure monitoring, diabetic screening, and retinal screening where appropriate.

All funds raised will go towards supporting hospitals and community-based health initiatives with the hopes of improving access to care for those whom may not have easy access to such services.
