Fresh Ego FC Giveback

The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has had a negative impact on the financial welfare of hundreds of thousands of families across the country. Business owners have had to shut up shop, the self-employed have lost their security, the future of furlough is questionable, and the government are playing cat and mouse with the topic of free-school meals. The crisis has forced many households into unthinkable positions, struggling to provide, and the pressures of the festive season can often make these already challenging issues feel much, much worse. 

Last winter, Fresh Ego FC members; Winston Davis, Nadim Akhtar and Ben Alexander banded together to come up with a plan to alleviate some of the stressors of lockdown on families within the community, and thus came the birth of The Give Back. 

They successfully provided families with food and household essentials and even managed to supply 40 Christmas hampers filled with presents and clothing. 

The money raised throughout the project has been used to continue to help and support these family throughout the year. 

 

This year, Fresh Ego FC are aiming to help even more families!
