Pennies for Penny!!

Hi everyone,

My name is Ella, and I’m writing this for the most amazing person in the world. My mom, Penny. For the past five years, she has been fighting stage four colon cancer. She’s been through more treatments, hospital visits, and procedures than I can count, but through it all, she’s never lost her kindness, her strength, and most importantly her faith!

If you’ve met my mom, you know she’s the kind of person who lights up the whole room the second she walks in. She’s the sweetest, most caring person I’ve ever known — the type who will drop everything to help someone else, even when she’s going through her own struggles. She’s always been my rock, my best friend, and the heart of our family.

Right now, she’s in the hospital due to some cancer complications. Seeing the strongest person I know sick with a disease she doesn’t deserve is something I can’t put into words. It’s so hard to watch someone you love more than anything go through this, but she continues to amaze us all with her courage and her will to keep going and fighting — for her children, her grandson Kasen that adores her, her family and for the life she’s not ready to let go of.

These past years have been emotionally draining for us. My mom is not one to ask for help so my brother and I are putting our pride aside and are creating this fundraiser so my mom can focus on kicking cancers ass and get back to being healthy without having to worry about anything else!

If you’ve ever met my mom, you know how special she is. And if you haven’t, I hope you can feel from these words just how incredible she is. She deserves the world, and I’m doing everything I can to help her get through this.
