Volunteer Trip. Habitat

I'm raising money to support a volunteer trip that I will be joining in Kauai, Hawaii. This volunteer trip is part of the Habitat for Humanity Global Village Organization. Habitat is a great organization dedicated to providing decent housing for everyone. While on the trip our group will be building and renovating houses of local families. Due to tourism, the cost of living has far exceeded the income of families local to the area. This has long been a dream of mine to join a travel and build with habitat. I have previously worked with our local wood county Habitat taking photos for them. I'm really looking forward to getting a hands on experience and delving into a brand new culture. One of my favorite things about Habitat is that it is a Christian organinization and the families who will be receiving the home must contribute so many hours during the building process. It reminds me of the adage, "God helps those who help themselves". Please help me, help support, this great organization. Thank you!
