CF supporting the Billingham & Stockton Borough Foodbank
This September, a team of employees from CF Fertilisers are coming together to take on a Coast to Coast cycle challenge from Whitehaven to Saltburn in aid of the Billingham & Stockton Borough foodbank. As a business we are committed to supporting local causes and charities, with ‘healthy food access’ one of our main pillars of giving. The foodbank, which is run by the Trussell Trust, is local to our manufacturing complex in Billingham and plays a vital role in helping to tackle food poverty in our local community.
Having supported them for several years through a donation from our Inclusion Resource Group, we wanted to take this one step further and find a way to generate even more funds to support the invaluable work they do.
And so the idea of this challenge was born. The route we’ll be cycling on 6 & 7 September will be stunning, challenging and rewarding in equal measure. But our motivation is to raise as much money as possible and any support you can give us, and them, would be very gratefully received, be in a one-off donation or through regular giving.
