Historia de la campaña

Mi nombre es Ely, soy mujer, madre y luchadora incansable. Durante años trabajé en un hospital y tuve mi propio negocio de bordados, que confié a mi exesposo con la esperanza de proteger a mis hijos y mantener nuestra familia unida.

Pero mi vida no fue fácil. Durante 20 años sufrí violencia doméstica, manipulación financiera e infidelidad. Perdí mi norte y mi tranquilidad, y la tragedia más grande llegó cuando mi hijo Michael falleció en un accidente. Mi corazón se rompió y tuve que mudarme a Florida por seis años, dejando atrás todo lo que construí, para proteger a mis hijos y darles un futuro seguro.

Tras mi divorcio, mi exesposo me demandó por regalías de un negocio , que yo compré con mi propio dinero, mientras él nunca aportó nada. Me quedé sin acceso a lo que construí con esfuerzo, mientras él vivía acomodado, protegido por la injusticia.

Hoy, gracias a Hogar Nueva Mujer y a mi psicóloga, he recuperado fuerza, confianza y la esperanza de seguir adelante. He vuelto a levantar mi negocio de bordados, pero necesito su ayuda para cerrar este capítulo legal que me ha robado paz y estabilidad.

Cada donación, grande o pequeña, será un paso hacia justicia, seguridad y sanación. Su apoyo no solo significa dinero: significa esperanza, fuerza y que mi voz sea escuchada después de tantos años de silencio y lucha.

Campaign Story

My name is Ely, and I am sharing my story with courage and hope.

I am a hardworking woman and a devoted mother of three. For years, I worked in a hospital and built my own embroidery business from the ground up. I trusted my ex-husband to help manage what we built together, believing in family, partnership, and loyalty.

Instead, I endured 20 years of domestic violence, emotional abuse, financial manipulation, and betrayal. I stayed strong for my children, even when I was breaking inside.

Then my world collapsed. My son Michael tragically passed away in an accident at just 18 years old. Losing him shattered my heart in ways words cannot describe. In my grief, I lost my direction and had to move to Florida for six years to survive emotionally and protect my children.

After my divorce, instead of peace, I faced another battle. My ex-husband filed a lawsuit against me, demanding royalties from a business I purchased with my own legal settlement money — money he never contributed to. I lost access to what I built through sacrifice and hard work.

Despite everything, I refused to give up. With the support of Hogar Nueva Mujer, an organization that empowers survivors of abuse, and with the guidance of my therapist, I began rebuilding my life. I have reopened my embroidery business and am working hard to stand on my own again.

Today, I am asking for help to close this painful legal chapter once and for all. I am seeking justice, stability, and the chance to move forward without fear.
