Help Puyallup Students Start Strong: Backpack Drive for Success!

Every child deserves the chance to succeed, and having the right tools for school is a huge part of that. This year, the newly formed Century Cares Committee, part of Century Communities - Washington, is thrilled to launch our Backpack Drive for the Puyallup School District! We're aiming to equip students in need with essential school supplies, setting them up for a successful academic year.

Why This Matters

For many families, the cost of school supplies can be a significant burden. Our goal is to alleviate that stress by providing students with brand-new backpacks filled with everything they need to learn and thrive. Imagine the confidence a child feels walking into their classroom on the first day, knowing they have all the notebooks, pencils, and art supplies they need. Your donation directly contributes to that feeling of preparedness and excitement!

Our Goal: 50 Backpacks by August 13th!

We've partnered directly with the Puyallup School District to identify families who will benefit most from this initiative. Our ambitious, but achievable, goal is to raise $4,000 by July 28th to assemble 50 fully-stocked backpacks with a division wide Backpack Stuffing day on August 13th. Beyond monetary donations, we invite you to be hands-on in making a difference! Join us for our Backpack Stuffing Day – it's a fantastic opportunity to directly help assemble these backpacks, connect with colleagues, and have some fun while supporting a great cause.

When: Wednesday, August 13th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

What's Included: We'll provide a delicious FREE LUNCH from The Pizza Coop & Ale House as a token of our appreciation, and you'll receive a FREE CENTURY CARES T-SHIRT to wear for this event and future initiatives!
