My name is Albert Turner, and I'm the founder of Esther, Khadijah & Albert’s Children Alliance & Women Foundation, a non-profit foundation that focuses on helping underprivileged women and children in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

In 2018, while in Africa, I met children begging me for money and food. With whatever change and little money I had in my pocket, I gave them the money and saw how joyful they were as they thanked me and ran back home. At that moment, I was so touched and motivated to do more.

Fast forward to early 2021, I was in Africa again to embark on my project and met with some community women and their families. We discussed the challenges and hardships that they encountered every day. Every day the community is faced with a lack of food, clean drinking water, medication, safe shelter, and educational tools. As a result, I promised to build a center that would provide all of these basic amenities!
