Celmira’s Recovery

Hello Everyone,

My name is Joanna and this is Celmira Perez. If you know Eleanor and me, you know the important role she played in our lives. Celmira helped raise Eleanor and me. She taught us how to read and write, helped us with our homework, and took care of us while our parents were at work. Celmira has nurtured and cared for many other kids and played an important role in their lives.

On August 12, 2022, Celmira suffered a stroke in her cerebellum. She underwent a 6 hour brain surgery to remove the clot from her brain. She had two catheters placed to remove any excess blood in her brain. Celmira is a fighter. Doctors have said given what she has gone through, she is in good spirits and fighting to recover.

The recovery process is long and hard on both her and her family. In order to ease some financial strain, we are raising money to help cover her medical bills, expenses, and assist in long term care. Any donation helps .

All donations made will be deposited to a savings account in her name .

Mi nombre es Joanna y esta es Celmira Pérez. Si nos conocen a Eleanor y a mi, saben que importante Celmira es para nosotros. Celmira ayudó a crearnos cuando nuestras madres trabajaba. Ella nos enseñó a escribir, leer, y nos ayudaba con nuestras tareas. Celmira también a cuidado de muchos niños y a sido importante para ellos también.

El 12 de Agosto, Celmira sufrió un infarto cerebral. Celmira enduro una operación de 6 horas para removerle el coágulo de sangre en su cerebro. También le pusieron dos catéteres para drenarle sangre del cerebro. Celmira es una mujer fuerte. Los doctores dicen que a pesar de todo por lo que a pasado, Celmira sigue en buen espíritus y está luchando para recuperarse.

El proceso de recuperación es largo y difícil para ella y sus familiares. Estamos recogiendo fondos para ayudar en sus facturas médicas, gastos, y asistir en cuidado a largo plazo.

Todas las donaciones van a ser depositadas a una cuenta de ahorros a nombre de ella.
