A Celebration of Undocu Leadership ✨ in Connecticut

Connecticut Students for a Dream (C4D) is the first and only youth-led, statewide organization in Connecticut that fights for the rights of undocumented youth and their families. And this year C4D is entering our ✨ transitions era ✨ and we invite you to be part of this next phase with us.

After an intentional and thorough planning period, C4D’s current EDs, Anghy Idrovo and Camila Bortolleto, are transitioning out of their roles this summer and fall of 2023. This announcement comes with bittersweet excitement. We’re excited because at CT Students for a Dream we seek to build a strong sustainable youth organizing movement - and leadership transitions are a key part of this goal. But we are also saying farewell to two of our leaders that have been crucial to our growth and vision as an organization.

Anghy and Camila stepped into the joint Co-Executive Director role in March of 2020 after serving in various other roles at C4D. Anghy joined C4D as a leader in YEAR, and has served as our Danbury Organizer and Campaign Organizer starting in 2017. Camila was one of our co-founders in 2010 and served as a Campaign Manager starting in 2017.

CELEBRATE with us! Our power, our impact, our resilience.

For the past 13 years, C4D has served as a home for immigrant youth and families looking for a community, support, resources, and the space to make their voice heard. Anghy and Camila have been crucial in building that vision. So we invite you to be part of our next phase by donating in support of our vision and in celebration of Anghy’s and Camila’s leadership.

Our goal is to raise $13,000 by the end of the year in order to shepard C4D through this transition period and ensure we can continue being a sustainable organization

BUILD with us! Our vision and our voice.
