Hi everyone,

Our family is heartbroken to share that my sister, Katherine “Katie” Ann Simon, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was not only an incredible sister, daughter, and friend — but above all, she was the most loving and devoted mother to her 10-year-old daughter, Simone.

Katie poured her heart into advocating for the deaf community, making everyone feel seen, heard, and included. She touched so many lives with her passion, kindness, and contagious energy.

Now, as we face this unimaginable loss, we’re asking for support to help Simone transition into this next chapter without her mom. Funds raised will go toward helping her get settled into a stable, nurturing environment and will be set aside for her future — including college savings, emotional support resources, and everyday needs.

Katie gave Simone a foundation of love and strength. With your help, we can continue to surround her with the same.
