<div>Our family is heartbroken to share that my sister, Katherine “Katie” Ann Simon, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was not only an incredible sister, daughter, and friend — but above all, she was the most loving and devoted mother to her 10-year-old daughter, Simone.

<div>Katie poured her heart into advocating for the deaf community, making everyone feel seen, heard, and included. She touched so many lives with her passion, kindness, and contagious energy.

<div>Now, as we face this unimaginable loss, we’re asking for support to help Simone transition into this next chapter without her mom. Funds raised will go toward helping her get settled into a stable, nurturing environment and will be set aside for her future — including college savings, emotional support resources, and everyday needs.
