Celebration of Life Expenses for Jody Wilson (R2)

Ann Arbor Roller Derby & Lakeshore Roller Derby on behalf of the Wilson family, are raising funds to cover the celebration of life expenses of our beloved team member and friend, Jody Wilson

On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, our community received the devastating news of the passing of Jody Wilson/R2-DeckU. Jody was not only a cherished member of our roller derby family but also a beacon of light in the derby world. Her absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt, and she will be sorely missed.

For those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with Jody, whether she officiated your game, worked alongside you as a referee, supported your league, cheered from the sidelines, or had any form of impact on your derby journey, you know the profound influence she had. Jody's dedication to the sport was evident in her no-nonsense approach to officiating, ensuring fair play and upholding the integrity of the game. However, beyond the track, in the locker room, her vibrant smile and lighthearted jokes created an atmosphere of camaraderie and warmth. please consider donating to help Jody's family with expenses, as well as celebrating Jody.
