We are creating this GoFundMe to celebrate the life of Sharon Nicole Stephenson and to help our family cover the sudden and unexpected costs of laying her to rest.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and fiancé. She was born in Summersville, West Virginia to Patricia and Randall Cornwell, and was a devoted mother to Abby Stephenson and Tyler Cornwell. Sharon was a proud grandmother to Mila, Adeline, and Ryder Cornwell, and a loving fiancé to Stacy Frame. She was the rock that held her family together; strong, resilient, and endlessly supportive. Becoming a mother and later a grandmother was the greatest joy of Sharon’s life, and she poured her heart into her family every single day.

Sharon found happiness in the simple things. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed creating things for the people she loved. She was a dedicated sports fan, proudly cheering on WVU and Dallas football. She loved Winnie the Pooh and little red trucks, small details that brought her comfort and joy. Above all else, Sharon loved her family and consistently put the needs of others before her own. Even when life felt heavy and difficult, Sharon remained a source of strength and light. She had a way of brightening every room she entered and could find humor and warmth even in the most difficult moments.

Sharon passed away on January 6th, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with multiple illnesses; illnesses that followed her through much of her life. Over the past year, her health declined significantly, yet she continued to face each day with bravery and grace. She was surrounded by her family in her final moments.

There are no words that can truly describe the grief our family feels at this time, nor the emptiness left behind by Sharon’s passing. She touched the lives of so many, and her absence is deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
