Celebrating the life of Kekoa-Kai
Donation protected
Words can’t describe who Kekoa-Kai was, but we are going to try our best. His second round of brain cancer may have been what took him from us but that will never define who he was. It did however define the warrior in him, his drive to overcome anything and everything thrown at him.
Kai was always the happiest kid, always doing or saying something funny because it made people smile and laugh. That never changed as he got older, it got better! Kai prided himself on the amount of hugs and smiles he gave people each day. Even on his worst days he would always say that its okay because he brightened someone else’s day. His hugs were amazing, it wasn’t just a hug, he held on with both arms and embraced every single person. Nothing Kai did was halfhearted; he always gave it his all, to the bitter end. Its just who he was! Even the people that just met him couldn’t describe the feeling he gave them. We just keep hearing the same words, “I don’t know what it is, there’s just something about him”. We couldn’t be prouder of such a compassionate young man, couldn’t be prouder of our son!
He had to fight through most of his life and endure things that no child should ever experience but everyday he found happiness in others. Everyday was a new day in his eyes, everyday was a chance to make someone else’s day better. Even cancer didn’t get him down he always said, “I got this, I know team panda has my back.”
We’re not use to asking for help, but we could sell everything we own and still not be able to afford the kind of celebration Kai deserves. Everything given will go directly to the ohana to help with expenses.
