Please help the food and wine community properly honor Jonathan Waters.

 

From decades at Chez Panisse to travels to French vineyards, from paella in the backyard to dal at the kitchen table, runs in Tilden to the soccer pitch, Jonno embraced community in ways that many of us only dream of.

 

So we will come together Sunday, June 12th to toast this man, to celebrate his wisdom and knowledge, his joy and playfulness, his willingness to both share everything he knows about Savennieres and also beat you at poker while doing so.

 

Anything you can contribute is gratefully welcomed.  Funds will be used to pay local small food enterprises and solo entrepreneurs stepping up to provide product and time to make this gathering a true reflection of Jonno and his life.  A portion of the proceeds will go to establishing an herb plot at a local community garden space in Jonno's name.
