On September 22, 2024, we tragically lost Edwin Cruz-Soto, a beloved son, brother, twin, and friend. After courageously fighting an on going battle with a heart condition, Edwin suffered a heart attack that led to an induced coma as he took severe brain damage in hopes of a transplant. Sadly, after a continuous battle with recovery opportunity never came, and, heaven gained a beautiful angel.

Edwin’s family, parents, siblings, and twin sister have come together during this difficult time, cherishing the memories they’ve shared with him. His parents, Edna and Martin Cruz-Soto, reflect on the priceless memories they’ve enjoyed as parents watching their son grow up to the amazing man he became. His older siblings, recall guiding him through the tough times growing up, serving as role models and offering unwavering support. They will always remember how Edwin motivated them to pursue their own success and happiness, which they now dedicate to their brother’s memory. For his twin sister, the bond was even deeper—Edwin was her other half, and they supported each other through life’s most challenging moments always being there for one another.

Edwin was a fighter—someone who never quit, never gave up, and always had a smile on his face, no matter how difficult his circumstances were. He inspired everyone around him to strive for more, proving that his heart condition would never hold him back from achieving his goals. El 22 de septiembre de 2024, perdimos trágicamente a Edwin Cruz-Soto, un querido hijo, hermano, gemelo y amigo. Después de luchar valientemente contra una afección cardíaca, Edwin sufrió un infarto que lo llevó a un coma inducido debido a un daño cerebral severo mientras esperaba un trasplante.
