Celebrating the life and love of Kapila Jalota

With a heavy heart, I share that my dear mom, Kapila Jalota, has passed. She is now at her heavenly home at the blessed feet of Mata Rani. ️ ️

Many of you may already know that my mom contracted pneumonia a few weeks ago and was hospitalized in the ICU. She had other health conditions that made it an uphill battle for her to get better. We placed our trust in the skilled team at Saddleback Memorial, who did their level best to help her get better. Unfortunately, Ambe Maa️ had other plans for her, and she passed peacefully yesterday February 16, 2023, surrounded by her dearest friends and family.

Mom was a giver. She always thought of others more than herself, even in her last moments. In receiving messages over the past few days, so many begin with "Your mom had such a pure heart".

She would often make donations to orphanages or sponsor a specific child’s education for many years. Mom was the original GoFundMe. We will use your donations to give more children a chance to learn and grow. This will make my mom's big heart happy ❤️
