In Loving Memory of Raymond Yip

On March 28, we lost our beloved brother and friend, Raymond Yip. He had been bravely battling cancer, and despite the challenges, endured it with incredible strength and bravery. As we know, Ray faced all adversity head on and never tapped out. We are all heartbroken with his loss.

We remember Ray as a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. A light in this world who was always there for his family and friends, radiating love, concern for others, laughter and wisdom.

Ray loved his family, and took every moment he could to be with them. He leaves behind his loving wife, Candice and their children, Carter and Caela, and his loving family.

Ray was a renaissance man who continually pursued academics, physical excellence and music. From the many letters after his name, to the many BJJ belts, and times spent dragon boating with RGL, he set an example that will stand the test of time with his friends and family. Ray wore his heart on his sleeve and would help anyone that needed it. Ray was recently baptized, and showed unwavering faith in God, and we pray for His love to enfold their family at this time.

To honour Ray’s memory, we are coming together to support Candice and their children during this unimaginably difficult time. The funds raised will go towards the children’s education, and other expenses.

Ray’s utmost concern was his family’s welfare, and he went above and beyond to do everything he could to make sure they were cared and provided for after his passing. We are organizing this fundraiser unsolicited as we feel called by the Holy Spirit to help support their family in whatever small way we can.
