We are Jess Fox’s loved ones coming together to create a joyful memorial and celebration of life on Saturday, October 11, 2025, Jess’s birthday, in Dayton, Ohio. Jess died from cancer on June 26, 2025, and we’re honoring her hope that we would come together in community to remember her with stories, laughter, good food, music, and plenty of hugs. We are here to support her husband, Chris Fox, and Jess’s family, and to show them love in the event planning.

Many of you have asked how to help, whether or not you can attend. Contributing here is one way to support the gathering and help bring her people together to celebrate Jess in the way she lived: warm, welcoming, and full of love. If contributions exceed what is needed for the celebration, remaining funds will be donated to organizations that reflect the values and causes Jess cared about.

Jess’s community is wide and woven from many chapters of her life. The common thread is how deeply people were moved by her genuine care. This celebration is for coming together, trading memories, and keeping that care at the center.
