Blasian March proudly presents: Blasian Pride: Five Year Anniversary!
We're celebrating five years of building Black-Asian solidarity through art and culture. Within five years, we've reached six U.S. cities and have been represented in Zurich, Switzerland and Tokyo, Japan. And it's all because of YOU!
Blasian Pride is an annual celebration of Black, Asian, and Blasian LGBT community. In a time where our communities are facing wide systemic and interpersonal discrimination, we believe that intersectionality is key to advocating for our communities this Pride season.
Funds will go towards providing free food, honorariums to performing artists, speakers, and and documentation.
About The Blasian March:
The Blasian March is a solidarity action between Black, Asian, and Blasian communities. This is achieved through education on parallel struggles against racial injustice and mutual celebration through art and culture. Conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic and the surge of Black and Asian American political movements, The Blasian March has inspired local leaders and served communities in New York City, New Haven, Los Angeles, Chicago, Sacramento, Orlando, Zürich, Switzerland and Tokyo, Japan. Blasian March has been featured on CNN, WNYC (NPR), NBC Chicago, ABC Sacramento, and more. Among several awards, Blasian March received a certificate by New York City’s Public Advocate for uniting “communities in love, fellowship, and support.” www.blasianmarch.org
