This year, Forth Valley Sensory Centre proudly celebrates 20 years of supporting people with sensory loss across our community. For two decades, we have worked alongside individuals, families, and partners, guided by our core values of collaboration, equality, respect, inclusion, and compassion.

Our mission has always been clear:

“Our vision is a world where people with a sensory loss can lead inclusive, confident lives.”

Over the years, we have supported many people to feel understood, empowered, and included. Now, as we mark this special anniversary, we’re asking for your help. Continued fundraising is essential to keep the Centre open — not just for today, but for the next 20 years and hopefully many more.

Throughout our anniversary year, we’ll be running lots of events and fundraising activities to celebrate everything our community has achieved together.

Tree of Life – Our First Anniversary Event

All visitors to the Centre will be invited to add a message, name, or dedication to a clay heart, which will be hung in our Sensory Garden as part of our Tree of Life. For a small cost of £1 (to cover materials), supporters can leave a lasting mark.

‍♂️ Big Birthday Walk – April

We’ll also be hosting a sponsored walk, the Big Birthday Walk, from our Centre to The Helix in April. The confirmed date will be shared once finalised.

Garden Party… with a Birthday Twist!

Our much-loved annual Garden Party will be extra special this year as it becomes a 20th Birthday Party, helping us celebrate this milestone with our community.
