In Loving Memory of "ROBBY PETERSON"
On August 21st, my best friend — someone who was like a son to me — was taken from us far too soon. He was struck by a car on Route 1 in Edison after leaving my house, still carrying the energy and passion he always had when doing what he loved most: making rap songs, freestyling, and chasing dreams. We had plans together — he was about to start tattooing with me, ready to make something big out of his talents.
By day, he worked as a mechanic at Bill’s Service Station, a job he knew inside and out and did with pride. He was always the one people could count on to figure out what was broken and make it right. But his true spark went beyond the garage — it was in his creativity, his music, his laughter, and his ability to make everyone around him feel alive.
Life had never been easy for him. After losing his brother in an accident about 10 years ago, he carried a pain that never fully healed. Still, he kept going, kept creating, and kept giving love to the people around him. Now, with his passing, his family is left with another heartbreak that no one should ever have to face.
He leaves behind his loving mom, his brother Kevin, his sister Ashley, his grandma who meant the world to him, and even his cat Shady, who was his companion through thick and thin. To all of them — and to me — he was more than just family or friend. He was a light, a protector, and someone who always had our backs no matter what.
The truth is, he would never ask for anything like this. That wasn’t who he was. But I know in my heart that he deserves a farewell worthy of the love he gave and the dreams he carried. That’s why I’m asking now, on his behalf. Any support you can give — whether through a donation, a share, or even a prayer — will go toward honoring his life, easing the burden on his family, and giving him the goodbye he deserves.
Thank you for keeping him,his mother, his family, Kevin, Ashley, Grandma, Shady, and all of us who loved him in your thoughts during this painful time.
Rest easy, brother. Your music, your spirit, and your love live on forever.
