Help Celebrate Rick James’ Retirement

After decades of dedication to his students, athletes, and community, Coach Rick James is finally retiring! Whether you knew him as a coach, teacher, mentor, or friend, you probably have a Rick story – and we want to hear it!

We (his kids) are asking for just $1 and a short story about how Coach James has made a difference in your life to surprise him with all the sweet memories.

Our Goal:

Half of the funds raised will be donated to Sullivan East Athletics – a program dad has poured his heart into for decades.

The other half will help fulfill his lifelong dream of visiting Pearl Harbor – a trip he's always wanted to take but never made time for.

Rick has always given his all – showing up early, staying late, pushing others to be better, and doing it all with heart. Now it’s our chance to give back – not with big money, but with memories, gratitude, and the support of a community he’s shaped in countless ways.
