Celebrate our Shining Star and Her Legacy

Josephine’s enduring battle with sickle cell disease not only inspired countless individuals but also led her to create an organization dedicated to raising awareness and fostering a supportive community for those affected by this challenging condition. She understood the isolation and challenges faced by those with sickle cell disease and sought to alleviate their burdens by creating a tight-knit community.

Even though Josephine is no longer with us, Raremark Foundation reaffirms its commitment to further expand her vision and programs, provide psycho-social support, improve the patient care of warriors, and carry out awareness out-reaches to educate, sensitize, and advocate in urban and remote communities to make a change in the lives of Sickle Cell Warriors in Uganda.
