Hi! We are South Asian Federation, a cultural club at UC Riverside that aims to culturally, socially, and philanthropically unite the South Asian student population. We aim to be safe space for all those who identify as South Asian, in hopes to create a stronger community. We are mainly socially and culturally oriented, striving to have the South Asian student population celebrate the many different cultures represented through festivals and inclusive religious events. Additionally we are philanthropically associated as well, providing resources and opportunities for students here on campus year round. We are having our annual SAF Banquet where there will be music, performances, and food for the UCR student population to enjoy! This event's purpose is to bring together friends and build a sense of community within the South Asian bracket.
