Clearance “Mac” Collier Born June 29, 1946 ~ Passed November 7, 2025
Clearance “Mac” Collier of Donalsonville, Georgia, departed this life peacefully on November 7, 2025, with his beloved wife Daisy and cherished son Yusel Lateef Abdul Collier at his bedside. Known affectionately as “Boo Boo” to his wife and “Daddy” to his son, Mac lived a life rich in love, passion, and purpose.
A proud advocate for Black history and culture, Mac found inspiration in Sam Greenlee’s The Spook Who Sat by the Door, a book that reflected his deep commitment to empowerment and identity. He was an avid reader and sports fan, with a lifelong love for basketball, admiring legends like Allen Iverson, LeBron James, Julius Erving, and Oscar Robertson. He cheered faithfully for the Cleveland Browns and celebrated the Pittsburgh Pirates as his favorite baseball team.
Above all, Mac’s greatest joy was his family. His devotion to Daisy and Yusef was unwavering, and his presence will forever be felt in their hearts.
Mac’s legacy is one of love, pride, and resilience. He will be remembered not only for his passions but for the warmth and strength he gave to those closest to him.
With a very small remainder of family left, we need assistance for a proper burial service set out in 2 weeks. Any help is encouraged and very much appreciated.
