Leadership Hermosa Beach (LHB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, training, and connecting leaders for the betterment of the Hermosa Beach community. Each year, a new LHB class undertakes a community-focused project. The Leadership Hermosa Beach Class of 2026 is leading this mural initiative as part of its commitment to supporting local arts and enhancing the visibility of the Hermosa Beach Arts District.

The mural will celebrate the creativity and community of the Hermosa Beach Arts District. The goal is to spark interest in the area, reflect the people and businesses that make it unique, and highlight the character and identity of this artistic neighborhood. The mural will be in the heart of Hermosa Beach’s Arts District. This area is known as an Industrial & Creative Hub, home to art galleries, music studios, surfboard shapers, construction services, and creative offices. Its mix of traditional industrial uses and newer creative tenants gives the neighborhood a distinctive character, setting it apart from Hermosa Beach’s main commercial corridors, such as Pier Avenue and Aviation Boulevard.
