The Donnie Bunac Fund was created to keep our brothers memory alive and celebrate his life and legacy. Through the years we knew Donnie, he helped football players establish themselves and gave them a place to lay their head, nourishment, and education.

Our fund aims to continue that legacy and provide housing and resources for players in need. Your donations go to support young men in need, who are looking to establish themselves in the Vegas community. Our A7FL.com league gives players and outlet and keeps them engaged in sport and comradery, doing positive things for themselves and the community and "keeps them off the street".

About Coach Donnie

 Donnie Bunac was an absolute blessing to our community. He gave of himself even when he had less to give than the person he was giving to. His love of people and mentoring and serving others knew no limits. Recently, Donnie and the family took in their nephew James who is living with Down Syndrome.

 From 1995-2000 Donnie was a Police Officer in Cali with Kern County in the Gang Unit. He became ill and had to have his leg amputated. It effectively ended his law enforcement career.

 Donnie and his family moved to Vegas in 2014. He is survived by his wife Nila and his two boys, Chris and Ramses, who both played in the A7FL for him in 2022. Most recently, as Head Coach of the Insomniacs in the Inaugural season of the A7FL in NV, Donnie brought and energy, light, and love that exemplified all he did to build the first complete A7 team in Nevada history.

 Donnie was a father, husband, uncle, son, Coach, business owner, lover of animals, and for most that he’s touched, a mentor.

 It brings us all great sadness to know his family will be without its center; sadness to know our brother is gone; sadness that so many who relied on his guidance, conversation, and mentorship on a daily basis are left with a tremendous void that may never be sufficiently filled.
