Keep Cedric Home

Hi, my name is Andrew and I have a two-year old son named Cedric. I am currently going through a divorce and fighting desperately to make sure my son stays in the state so that he and I can still be together.

Cedric is my world, and since the moment I knew he would be born, everything that I have done has been for him. From the moment he was born I have taken care of him and played with him and helped him discover the world. He and I are as close as we can be.

My divorce is due to disagreements in our home that were beginning to negatively affect my son now that he is old enough to understand the disagreements. I grew up in a home filled with tension and with parents that fought and threatened divorce constantly and I do not want my son to experience that same fear that I felt as a child.

Shortly after we separated, my son was relocated, while I was at work, and then flown to the other side of the country. Since that moment I have been doing everything I can to get him back. I have won a temporary victory and been granted some relief from the court allowing me visitation. However, achieving that temporary victory has completely drained my bank account and the personal loans I have taken to afford the attorney. My costs have now increased as I have come to the final step in the process.

As the final hearing looms I need help to pay my legal fees so that, in the final hearing, I can ensure that my son stays nearby so that he and I can be together. I am not trying to keep him from his mother, I am just trying to not lose my boy. Please help me keep Cedric home with his Dad.
